Project IV

“5th Floor” is a smooth, jazz-influenced instrumental by Eddie Garrido, blending mellow rhythms with soft melodic harmonies with his Latin- and smooth-jazz style. I chose to work with this track because of its relaxed, groove-oriented vibe that makes it fun, jazzy, easy to listen to while offering for plenty of space to alter without taking away from its essence.

This variation displays the beginning segment highlighting the melody of the Electric Guitar, Electric Piano and the Bass track.

This variation displays a remix with newly added drums to reflect and intensify a groove change from the bridge back into the verse. This segment is composed of the Electric Guitar, Electric Piano and Synth tracks to accompany the new drums

This variation displays the segment transition from the bridge to the verse as well with added sound FX mixed with some soft percussion of the original mix, emulating an ambient outdoor performance.
